Kemah Birthday Party!

This year for my birthday I went to Kemah Boardwalk (an amusement park by the ocean) with my best friend Taylor! Bored during the HOUR 1/2 car ride! Took cute pics(:

The inverter! It was soo fun! it spun you up and down and completely upside down!

The second time we rode when we were going up we had no idea why we were doing it again! it was so scary! we promised each other we wouldn't ever do it again. but we ended up riding one more time before we left

every time we go to Kemah we take a picture on the steps. We finished up the day by looking through all the shops and eating dinner

For dinner we ate at the aquarium. It was so cool eating next to all these amazing fish! there were so many kinds and they were all HUGE

It was definitely the best birthday I have ever had!

Turkeys!!

I finally got my baby turkeys for FFA! They are extremely cute and so funny. I think turkeys are the dumbest animals I have ever seen and I love them to death(: I was supposed to get 5 but one girl decided she didn't want to do turkeys so I got an extra one. There names are Turkey Lurkey, Tom, Hoggie, Acorn, Gobble, and Big Bird. Acorn sleeping <3

My Birthday!

Wow 15! I just had my birthday and it was the best ever! There is this thing at school that when it is your birthday your friends bring you flowers and balloons and stuff that you have to carry around all day. I had to have a big sign tied around my neck saying it was my birthday, 3 bouquets of flowers, a big tray of cupcakes, and 2 huge balloons tied to my bag. The most annoying this was that the balloon sang! I would get attacked in the hall by people trying to tap it, and during class when it was all quiet someone would hit it and it would start singing happy birthday. I didn't really mind it to much because I love the attention(:

Highschool!!

I started highschool the other week and I absolutly love it! I was super nervous at first because I thought i would get totally lost and be late to every class. The school is huge but its not that bad anymore. I didnt get lost once and I have never been tardy(: I love my classes and have made so many friends! The classes are hard and its a lot of work but thats school for you.

New Shoes!

This year when I was doing my shopping for school I just could NOT find the right shoes! I wanted them to be all white, ballet slipper, flats with diamonds at the end. I know I'm picky. So at the end of another failed shoe shopping trip my mom came up with the idea to just make them ourselves. Our friend Mrs. Penny does this all the time with flip flops. Plain white ballet flats- $9

End of Summer Party

Tonight we had our ward "end of summer party". whoop-de-do. Shouldn't we be mourning the end of summer? Why would we want to go back to waking up early for school and staying up late doing homework? Its a strange world.Dad and some of the other men from our ward played and sang after the BBQ. It ended up being pretty enjoyable :)Close up of my daddy playing the banjo <3

Happy Birthday Claire!

Our little Claire Bear turned 7 years old this Wednesday! We got her some birthday donuts thinking we would give them to her in bed but she woke up to early for us. She got to go out to lunch with mom and dad then went to Academy to pick out a new bike. Her Hannah Montana birthday party is next Saturday so I'll put up more pictures then!

Dallas

First off I want to apologize for not updating my blog practically all summer. I don't even have the excuse that I was busy..I just didn't do it.
This past weekend my mom got to go to Colorado for my Great Grandma Gwen's funeral so my dad took us kids up to Dallas to visit our cousins.

Josh and Tyler are the same age and the best of buddies. One of the nights we went to visit our Aunt Sarah at work. She works at a books store in a fancy area with a river walk, restaurants, and lots of stores :D Down by the river they had 2 metal horses that were perfect for picture taking.

Oklahoma Trip - Everything Else!

After this post I will have finished everything from Oklahoma!

My grandpa always takes our nice wall pictures so he took mine while I was there. This is the (super scary and gross) lake that Emily and I swam in multiple times. My first time I went swimming in it I was freaking out! My feet were touching icky mud and I swore something swam next to me at least a hundred times!
The tree house! Emily and I sat out here many hours talking, texting, and just laying there enjoying the nice weather

Chickens! Every time I would talk to Claire on the phone she would ask about the chickens
Riding Horses! This time was extra fun because I actually got to ride the horse out side of the pasture!I got to ride Twila At the airport :( Leaving was the saddest thing ever! I actually started crying on the airplane.
Emily and I are the best of friends and I miss her sooo much already! We both decided that I should move in with her :)
