Tittle: The Red Necklace
Author: Sally Gardner

I give this book an A.
The Red Necklace has everything! Mystery, Romance, Magic and everything else that makes up a good book. I don't want to give away to much because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. (because I know you're all going to rush to the library to get it) The story takes place in Europe in 1789, at the beginning of the French Revolution. Sido, the marquises daughter, has been hated by her father all her life. Yann, a handsome mysterious gypsy, was orphaned at birth and raised by Tetu', who helped him understand his magical abilities. When these two teenagers meet they feel a strange force pulling them together. They later are forced to work together to stay alive. In doing so, they learn about their past, future, and the joys of love and family.

The (big) itsy-bitsy-spider
Later that night...
On our way home from young womens Melanie was sitting in the front seat and we stopped at a gas station. I get out of the car and tell Mel to switch spots because it is my turn in front, but of course she wouldn't. I get back in my seat and all of a sudden Melanie starts screaming and throwing her arms around like crazy! She jumps our of the car and runs all around the parking lot screaming "Spider!!" and hitting herself trying to get it off! EVERYONE that was filling up there cars were cracking up! I couldn't breath I was laughing so hard! But after we still couldn't find the spider...
